A School Within Paradise
I just can’t get enough of how beautiful our school is.
De La Salle Canlubang
I’m having class right now.. Pretending to listen to the people reporting.. Convincing?
Visioning
This is pretty late. But it’s one of my minor backlogs so I have to finish this xD
We had a workshop on January 4 which basically had us looking forward to the things that will be happening in our school, De La Salle Canlubang. At 8 years old, De La Salle Canlubang is a very young school, but that just means that there’s a huge opportunity for growth.
The best part of this growth is we, the students, can be a part of it. We can actually leave behind a legacy! And that’s just what we did during this workshop; we formed the mission and vision of one of the main departments in the school, the College Student Council. I can just imagine when I have a son, I can tell him: “you know what? I was one of the people who drafted the mission and vision of the College Student Affairs.”
Ain’t that cool?

[This is the current Student Council President trying to hide the fact that she’s eating a lot xD]

My schedule for next week.
I am panicking a bit already on how I’m going to do the weekend bout; from Thursday to Saturday.
Die liao.. :D
First Day of 3rd Term
All I can say is damn.
Started of really well with Gender Relations which is taught by one of the few teachers I have a great deal of respect on, Ms Jaymee. I’m already seeing this subject as one of the things that is going to interest me a lot. Though I have my doubts because there a few characters that will remain as the antagonists in a supposedly wonderful story.
Second lesson was on Filipino. This is when everything turned out to screwed up. It induced a really painful headache as I read the items on the syllabus and while we were doing some pre-test. I hate filipino. I hate it to the max. I can’t even speak it so fluently and now you want me to read and analyze stuff in filipino? I’m so dead.
Come on!
You can give me french. You can give me german. You can give me mandarin. BUT PLEASE! NO to FILIPINO! -.-
hehe.. Can you tell that I’m not really that patriotic? I think I see myself more of a Singaporean than a Filipino. I’d rather die for Singapore than die for the Philippines. It’s just way too screwed up to me. Don’t get me wrong. Some aspects of the country are wonderful. But there are just far too many “stains on the flag”.
Such a complicated country. Sad. Hopefully, under PNoy’s leadership, everything will be alright in the next few years.
After Filipino, we had Basic Finance. Numbers yet again. I’m not really a fan of subjects that has to do with numbers and calculation. But you know what? I’m kind of looking forward to this. I was surprised myself.
PE tomorrow. Hate it. If it was soccer or running, I’m ok with it. But Sepak Takraw? Damn it -.-
I’m seriously not liking my schedule for next term. Especially Tuesdays. I. Hate. PE.
